*NEW: PLEASE SEE OUR CLINICAL ADVICE SECTION (UNDER SERVICES) FOR USEFUL HEALTH INFORMATION*

Covid Vaccination Clinics

The practice is not currently giving Covid vaccinations. These are available from the vaccination centres and some community pharmacies. Information about this can be obtained from the NIdirect website.

Health and Care Numbers

If you have been asked to obtain your health and care number for getting a Covid vaccination please note that it is NOT required to book an appointment. If you are still keen to get it please be aware that it is printed on any prescriptions you might have, is on your medical card, and can be found on most correspondence you might have had from a hospital. Please explore these options first and DO NOT contact the surgery to ask for it.

FLU Clinics

Our three flu clinics for the 2020-2021 season have taken place. If you are eligible for a Flu vaccine and have not had one this season, please contact the surgery to make an appointment for a vaccine

PATIENT SURVEY

We would be grateful if you would complete the short on line survey about the Practice, in particular how likely or unlikely you would be to recommend the Practice to someone who has just moved in to the area.

Your opinions are very valuable to us but the Practice will not be able to identify your individual answers which will remain anonymous.

Thank you for your co-operation

Click on Our Survey to complete it.

We now offer online appointments booking with online repeat prescriptions.

We have a temporary hold on our ability to offer online services to our patients. There are two services available: booking/ changing/cancelling an appointment with a GP and ordering a repeat prescription.

Please speak to our reception staff in order to register for this service.

We are also able to text reminders to those of our patients who have provided us with their mobile number. If you wish to receive such texts and have not yet advised us of your mobile number please speak to our reception staff.

Health Data Collection and Health Observatory

The staff at this practice record information about you and your health so that you can receive the right care and treatment. We need to record this information, together with the details of the care you receive, so that it is available each time we see you.

The information recorded about you may also be used for reasons other than your personal care, for example, to help to protect the health of the general public, to plan for the future, to train staff and to carry out medical and other health research or studies.

Thus, we are involved in a health observatory based on anonymised patient information. The reasonable security measures and anonymisation processes are in place to comply with the relevant data protection regulations. If you would like to opt out of this data collection scheme, please let your doctor know and your records will not be collected for use for this Observatory. This will not affect your care in any way.

If anything to do with the Observatory or derivate research would require that you provide additional information about yourself, you will be contacted by your GP to see if you are willing to take part; you will not be identified in any published results.

You have a right of access to your health records. If at any time you would like to know more, or have any concerns about how we use your information, please ask reception for more details.

A list of published research using the THIN database is available upon request.
